Nel Ponsaers, introduces Alderson, a project that brings dreamy indie pop – personal, subtle, and minimalist. It’s a journey through different interior landscapes: at times raw and unpredictable, often bittersweet, but always adventurous.

Her debut album, ‘Erinyes’, has been met with wide acclaim from both press and audience. “I transformed a bomb of negative energy into pure emotion, which became the driving force behind this album,” she explains. 

The record features musical self-portraits, interspersed with three explosive outbursts of fury, each inspired by the Greek Furies, or Erinyes: Alecto, the relentless; Megaera, the wrathful; and Tisiphone, the avenger. These mythological figures were goddesses of vengeance, who rose from the underworld to punish wrongdoers on Earth. “The album is rich with references. If you listen closely, you’ll hear echoes of both Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Greek mythology,” she says.

In 2024, Alderson hit major milestones, including performances at Gent Jazz and a notable collaboration with Filip Wauters, which took her to New York.
